This master's degree has a long teaching history, having been taught in the Faculty of Science since 1991, first as an own UDC qualification within the E.U. Commett Programme, and later as an Official Postgraduate Programme and University Master's Degree verified in 2007. In 2012 it was unified with the Master's Degree in Environmental and Fundamental Chemistry of the University of A Coruña with the aim of optimizing human resources and infrastructures, always maintaining quality teaching.

DESIGN YOUR PROGRAMME
Advanced and interdisciplinary training of specialists with competences in the fields of the environment and chemistry through two specialization programmes that students can choose according to their interests, objectives and previous training.
DUAL ORIENTATION
Depending on the place where the students do their internships, the Master’s Degree differentiates between a professional orientation and a research orientation.
CONSOLIDATED MASTER’S DEGREE
In its different forms, the Master’s Degree in Science, Technologies and Environmental Management has been taught in the Faculty of Science of the University of A Coruña since 1991.
LABOUR MARKET ORIENTED
In addition, the Master’s Degree pays special attention to professional guidance and has collaboration agreements for external internships with numerous companies and public bodies from different fields, which allows it to offer students a wide range of professional internships.
END OF MASTER’S DEGREE PROJECT
All students taking this postgraduate course must carry out a 3-month Master’s Degree Final Project, including Compulsory internships with an applied research or professional orientation.

The Master’s Degree has two types of orientation depending on the place where the students do their internships:
- PROFESSIONAL, if they undertake their internships in companies and/or public institutions.
- RESEARCHER, if they carry out their internships in research laboratories.
