TOTALLY PERSONALIZED PROGRAMME
This master’s degree allows students to design their programme according to their particular interests: Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Plant Physiology or Biomedicine.
ACCESS TO RESEARCH GROUPS
The master’s degree allows students to join research groups from the Faculty of Science, CICA (Centre for Advanced Scientific Research) or INIBIC (Institute for Biomedical Research), associated with the University Hospital Complex of A Coruña (CHUAC).
FLEXIBILITY
This master’s degree can be taken either with classroom attendance or semi-distance as well as with total dedication (one year) or partial dedication (two years).
RETENTION OF TALENT
Research groups have the capacity to incorporate professionals of excellence who have graduated from the Master’s Degree through competitive projects and contracts at national and international level.
TEACHING STAFF
The Master’s Degree teaching staff is mainly made up of staff from the UDC and INIBIC. It also has guests from collaborating centres.
DUAL DEGREE
The master’s degree allows a dual international degree University of A Coruña – Universidad de Palermo (in two years).

COURSE OBJECTIVE
The training will allow the student to access R&D departments of companies in the health, pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
It also gives direct access to doctoral programmes.
The Master’s Degree has a long history since its implementation in the academic year 2009 - 2010
